Christ Church man charged with assisting offender

A 34-year-old Christ Church man has been charged with assisting an offender and several traffic offences stemming from an incident on Sunday.
The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) said its Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) arrested and formally charged Miguel Rico Ranaldo Daniel of Thornbury Hill with assisting Tyrese Farrell.
Daniel was also charged with failing to stop at the sound of a siren, driving without due care and attention, and driving without reasonable consideration for other road users.
Police said the offences were committed on August 16.
Daniel is scheduled to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today.
