Water woes continue in St John, St George, St Philip

Residents and businesses in sections of St George, St John and St Philip may continue to experience low water pressure or outages as technical problems persist at a Barbados Water Authority (BWA) station in St John.

The BWA said on Tuesday that the station was operating at a reduced water flow while work was underway.

Affected areas include Ridge Meadows, Sweet Bottom, Drax Hall Hope and Glebe in St George; Gall Hill, Four Roads, Clifton Hall and Church View in St John; and Breezy Hill, Church Village, Mount Pleasant Gardens and Moncrieffe in St Philip, among others.

Water tankers will be dispatched to assist affected residents.
