When the matter resumed before Justice Randall Worrell in the No. Supreme Court today, Hunte’s defence team – Ralph Thorne Q.C. and Harlowe Broomes – continued cross examining lead investigator Inspector Mark White. The investigator was the only witness to take the witness stand today. Hunte, of No. 2 Halcyon Heights, St James is on trial before a nine-member jury on a charge that he stole $104 785 belonging to Evan Mandeville Associates Limited between January 25, 2004 and July 11, 2005. He is further charged with engaging in money laundering during the same period.
