Investigations continue into house fires in St James

Police are continuing investigations into a house fire that destroyed two houses and damaged a third at Upper Carlton, St James around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Peter Hinds lost his unoccupied two-bedroom wooden house while his residence, a wall upstairs and downstairs house, was extensively damaged.

Mark Cadogan of Upper Carlton, St James, owned the third house, a wall and board structure.

Three tenders and 10 officers from the Barbados Fire Service responded and extinguished the fire around 12 a.m.

In a separate incident at Weston, St James, fire destroyed the home of a family of 12.
