The police spokesman said they received the call of a robbery in progress around 12:15 p.m. Inniss said the man, outfitted in a red dress, straw hat, mask, pair of sneakers and a handbag, approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller did as she was trained to and handed over some money. The robber put it in a bag and walked out of the bank with an undisclosed sum of money. No physical injuries have been reported, Inniss said. However, the PRO has appealed to members of the public who might have information, to call the police hotline at 211.
