The facility conducted 1,300 tests on Monday, August 23. There are 166 people in isolation. Confirmed cases of the virus have reached 4,694 (2,291 females and 2,403 males) since the start of the pandemic in March last year. The death toll from the viral illness is 48. Since February 2020, the laboratory has carried out 251,310 tests. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 103,822 first doses of the vaccine have been administered. The number of people who have received second doses and are fully vaccinated is 91,186. This figure represents 33.6 per cent of the population.
