The facility conducted 1,699 tests on Friday, August 27. There are currently 212 people in isolation. There have been 4,881 confirmed cases of the virus (2,392 females and 2,489 males) recorded since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Forty-eight people have died from COVID-19. The public health laboratory has carried out 257,510 tests since February last year. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 107,122 first doses of the vaccine have been administered.
