The campaign will be launched on Wednesday, March 9, and Attorney General Dale Marshall will deliver the feature address. Mr. Marshall stressed the importance of the sensitisation and education campaign, which targets all members of the society, including primary school children and visitors. In a statement issued on theย World Day Against Trafficking on July 30, 2021, Attorney General Marshall said Government was committed to continuing the fight against human trafficking. โGovernment has made human trafficking a priorityโฆ.ย Our legislation and approach to human trafficking is victim centredโฆcovering costs of victimsโ repatriation to their home country, providing shelter, medical assistance and legal aidโฆ. โWe have developed indicators to assist in detecting and investigating potential cases of human trafficking with the assistance of our international partners,โ he stated.
