In a statement issued this morning, Police Public Affairs and Communications Officer Rodney Inniss said: “We have yet to formally identify the deceased in this incident. We are of the opinion that the immediate family, relatives or friends of this man may not be aware as yet that he is missing. “This is a young male who appears to be in his 20s. He was driving a white Mazda motor car bearing “P” registration number plates.” The man’s lifeless body was found slumped in a vehicle. Police are appealing to anyone who may be able to identify the deceased to contact the District “C” Police Station at 416-8200 or the Oistins Police Station 418-2612 to make arrangements to view the body. Anyone with general information about the incident should also contact the District “C” Police Station at 416-8200, the Oistins Police Station 418-2612, Police Emergency at 211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.
