The Coroner has found two doctors negligent in the death of Warren Mottley, the brother of Prime Minister Mia Mottley.
In fact, Magistrate Graveney Bannister said the conduct of surgeon Dr Sahle Griffith and anesthesiologist Dr Nigel Farnum, who were in charge of Mottley’s care leading up to his passing was “so bad in all the circumstances to commit to a criminal act, omission and that they were negligent and concern in the cause of his death”.
Warren, 54, died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on June 29, 2021, a week after a routine colonoscopy at Surgical Solutions Inc.
