According to police, the victim was walking along Worthing, Christ Church when he encountered two males dressed in all black and ski masks. The masked men pointed a gun at the victim and one shot him in the right thigh. The men then ran off and left the area in a white motor car. The victim ran to a nearby business and asked for help. He was then transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motor car. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Hastings/Worthing Police Station at 430-7608, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or the nearest Police Station.
