THIS IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL STORM/ HURRICANE Expect tumbling or rolling of unsecured objects (e.g. inflatable structures, tents and garbage cans). Discussion A strengthening Atlantic High-pressure system is dominant across Barbaods and the region. Moderate to strong winds of 20 to 30 knots (37 to 56 km/h), associated with this feature are forecast to affect the island. Additionally, higher gusts are possible near some showers. A high-wind advisory is issued when sustained winds of 25 to 33 knots (47 to 61km/h) are affecting or forecast to affect the land area within 36 hours. This High-wind Advisory was issued at 6:00pm, Monday, 10th February, 2025 and will be updated/terminated at 6:00pm, Tuesday, 11th February, 2025.
