All schools to close at 1 p.m.

In light of the elevated weather advisory by the Barbados Meteorological Services to flood warning, the Ministry of Educational Transformation has taken the decision to officially close all schools at 1 p.m. Parents and guardians, kindly arrange for the collection of your children at your earliest convenience.

The ministry will continue to be guided by the Barbados Meteorological Services in relation to the safe reopening of schools. Please continue to monitor our social media pages, those of the Government Information Service and our other media partners for timely and accurate updates. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and safe under the weather conditions.(PR)
