Makai Chrishon James, of Pegwell Boggs, Christ Church, had been charged with the theft of a motor car belonging to Rico Depeiza on December 5, 2024. The accused appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District โAโ Criminal Court No. 1 on Saturday but was not required to plead to the indictable offence. Bail was granted in the sum of $8,000. The matter has been transferred to the District โAโ Criminal Court No. 2 and is scheduled to be heard on January 14, 2026.
