CrimeLocal News Man injured in Long Gap shooting by Barbados Today 02/04/2026 written by Barbados Today 02/04/2026 1 min read A+A- Reset FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 402 A man was shot and injured during an early morning incident in Long Gap, St Michael on Thursday. ย Reports are that around 3:45 am two males were walking along the road, when they were approached by a group of persons clad in dark clothing, wearing masks and brandishing a firearm. ย They reportedly demanded valuables from the two males and discharged a gunshot injuring one of them. ย The injured male was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private motor vehicle. ย Investigations are continuing.ย ย The police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information that may assist us to please contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1800-8477, Police Emergency at 211 or the District โAโ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7270.
