$3 000 bail for Easy Hall man

A St John man was granted bail today after he denied assaulting a female.

Rico Rashawn Gaskin, a 29-year-old musician from Easy Hall, pleaded not guilty to unlawfully and maliciously wounding Vanessa Joseph on July 11, 2020, when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today.

There was no objection to bail by the prosecution and Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes granted him bail in the sum of $3000.

He was also ordered to stay away from the complainant.

Gaskin is scheduled to return to court on April 20, 2021. (RB)
