They were tested after Management was informed by public health officials on Tuesday, May 26, that a customer who visited the branch the previous week had subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. Tests were conducted by health officials on Wednesday and Friday. The negative test results are an indication that the protocols which the Bank has adopted have been effective. The Bank will continue to practice intense sanitization in all areas and minimize interaction between departments. All members of the Republic Bank Team will continue to stringently adhere to the use of PPE and personal hygiene protocols. All customers must wear masks in order to enter the bank and adhere to physical distancing rules. Republic Bank Barbados Limited remains dedicated to maintaining the safety of all staff and customers on our premises.
