The Baycroft New Road, Bridge Road, St Michael resident pleaded guilty in the High Court today to the September 29, 2019 charge of having the bullets in his possession when he did not have a valid licence. Burgess, 37, who has Shadia Simpson as his defence counsel, will reappear before Justice Randall Worrel in the No. 2 Supreme Court on Thursday November, 19 when Crown Counsel Ramario Straker will read the facts of his case into evidence. In the meantime, the judge offered Burgess bail in the sum of $5 000 after the Crown put forward no objection.
