These new cases were identified on Thursday, May 13, from the 671 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. There are now 88 persons in isolation. Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has moved to 3,916, as eight persons were discharged from isolation on Thursday. Barbados has recorded 3,961 confirmed cases of the viral illness since the first case was identified in March last year. Of these, 1,915 were females and 2,046 males. So far, the lab has carried out 161,835 tests. There have been 46 deaths. As it relates to the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, a total of 75, 794 vaccinations have been administered, to date.
