A jury on Thursday found Tony Alvin Kellman guilty of assault and having illegal ammunition in his possession.
The verdict was returned this afternoon following Justice Christopher Birch’s summation earlier in the day.
Kellman, from Dunscombe, St Thomas, was convicted of the December 22, 2019 charges of unlawful possession of five rounds of ammunition and the unlawful assault of Rogann Thomas.
The convicted man who is on remand is expected to reappear before Justice Birch Supreme Court No 5a on July 29.
A pre-sentencing report has been ordered for the sentencing phase of his case.
Kellman represented himself in the trial which was prosecuted by Senior State Counsel Oliver Thomas.
