Local NewsNews Work commences from Newton to Six Roads by Barbados Today 06/07/2022 written by Barbados Today Updated by Asminnie Moonsammy 06/07/2022 1 min read A+A- Reset Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 259 Infra Inc., contractor with the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources, has commenced road works on Highway 6, from Newton/Henry Forde Roundabout to Six Roads, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. All road users are asked to follow the instructions of the traffic wardens and signs. Motorists should also plan their routes accordingly. These road works form part of the Road Rehabilitation and Improving Connectivity of Road Infrastructure project, which are being done in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank. The works to be conducted are milling and paving, kerb construction and roadside drainage. The estimated completion date is November 2022.
