Two houses destroyed, one occupant dies at Marley Vale, St Philip

Fire has destroyed two houses at Marley Vale, St Philip and one occupant remains unaccounted for, Chief Fire Officer Errol Maynard has disclosed.
Maynard told Barbados TODAY the fire was reported around 8:51 p.m.
“On arrival, we found two properties fully engulfed in fire and there were reports that one person was unaccounted for, ” he said.
Eight fire officers and two fire tenders from the St John and Bridgetown Fire Stations under the command of Station Officer White responded to the fire.
Police investigations are continuing.
