A 32-year-old man has been remanded to prison after being charged in connection with a series of burglary and loitering offences.

Police say Nico Cyril Alexander Norville, with no fixed place of abode, was arrested and formally charged for aggravated burglary in relation to a March 14, 2024 incident involving Yvette Brewster, as well as three counts of loitering with intent. Those loitering charges relate to incidents involving Khwamlisa Springer on November 26, 2025, Ignatius Byer Primary School on December 7, 2025, and Donna Springer on December 7, 2025.

Norville appeared before Magistrate Deborah Beckles in the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 29. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service at Dodds.

The matters have been transferred to the Holetown Magistrates’ Court, where Norville is scheduled to reappear on Monday, January 26, 2026.
