The Ministry of Educational Transformation said the closure is to facilitate recommended treatment of the school plant, followed by intensive industrial cleaning and the removal of unwanted furniture, fittings and equipment to reduce areas where pests may harbour. The ministry said it remains in communication with the Vector Control Unit and will be guided on when the school can be safely reopened. Parents and guardians will be notified directly by the schoolโs administration, and the public is encouraged to monitor official media channels, including the ministryโs digital platforms, for further updates.
