Managing Director of Sheraton Mall Scott Oran told Barbados TODAY that management was instructed by the Ministry of Health to urgently conduct work at the facility and, as a result, operations in the food court would be closed. “This morning we have decided to ask the food operators to close as there are some maintenance routines and industrial work that needs to be done on the premises which we were hoping to do at night. We have been informed that the timeliness of it is a priority and we feel that by closing the Food Court we will be able to get it done more expeditiously so that is what we are working on at the moment,” he said. Oran added that the work is likely to be completed in two days. ย kareemsmith@barbadostoday.bb ย Barbados Today Stay informed and engaged with our digital news platform.
