Maycock, who had been ailing for some time, passed away this morning at his home at Wanstead Terrace, Cave Hill, St Michael. During his diplomatic career, Maycock also served as a Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Barbados Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, both in 1986.
