Man charged with two counts of murder and other offences

A 23-year-old man is expected to appear in the St Matthias Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, on several charges including two counts of murder.

Police in the Southern Division arrested and formally charged Gabriel Shando Hayde, of Colleton, St John with the February 16, 2020 murder of Kerwin Howell and the death of Roger Moore, which occurred on August 18, 2020.

The unemployed man is also charged with possession of a .40 firearm and 23 rounds of ammunition without the having the valid licences to do so as well as possession, trafficking and intent to supply cannabis. The offences allegedly occurred on October 4.

He is further accused of dishonestly receiving a motorcar, between September 25 and October 4, belonging to Tonisha Layne Crichlow knowing or believing it to be stolen.
