After being allegedly held at sea with close to $2 million in illegal drugs and two firearms, three men – one of them a Trinidadian – have found themselves at HMP Dodds.

Neither Renald O’Neal Price, Rico Dario Geno Sandiford nor Ryan Manoo Mohammed was required to plead to the indictable offences when they appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Price, 37, of Breedy’s Land, Christ Church; 28-year-old Sandiford of Meadow Road, Wildey, St Michael and Mohammed, a 37-year-old joiner of South Oropouche, Partap Trace, Trinidad, were required to plead to the charge of having two firearms and 13 rounds of ammunition without a valid licence on October 22, 2020.

They are also charged with possession, trafficking and supplying cannabis on the same date.

The drugs had a street value of $1.7 million.

The accused were remanded to prison until November 27.
