The new positives were identified from the 402 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The number of active cases is now 314. The 20 cases recorded on Tuesday, comprised eight men and 12 women. Fifteen had already been at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility undergoing assessment. Barbados has recorded 3,353 confirmed cases – 1,588 females and 1,765 males – and 3,002 persons have recovered. There have been 37 deaths from COVID-19. The public health laboratory has so far completed 131,362 tests.
