Additionally, 27 persons recovered and were released from isolation.ย The number of active COVID-19 cases is now 210. Of the 17 new cases, there are eight men and nine women. ย Seven of them were already at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility undergoing assessment. Since the pandemic began, the island has recorded 3,421 confirmed cases โ 1,624 females and 1,797 males โ and 3,174 persons have recovered.ย ย There have been 37 deaths from the viral illness. The public health laboratory has so far completed 133,435 tests. On Saturday, 558 persons were vaccinated as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
