Fifteen people tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, March 22, from the 402 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. They comprise seven men and eight women.
A total of 32 people recovered and were discharged from isolation. There are currently 160 cases in isolation.
The island has recorded 3,574 confirmed cases – 1,712 females and 1,862 males – and 3,390 people have recovered since March 2020. There have been 40 COVID-19 related deaths.
The public health laboratory has so far completed 137,126 tests.
Nine people were vaccinated on Monday, as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
To date, a total of 61,781 vaccinations have been administered – 25,751 men and 36,030 women.
