The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified seven new positive cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
They comprise three men and four women. Thirty-one persons recovered and were discharged from isolation. There are currently 112 people in isolation.
Since March last year, the island recorded 3,659 confirmed cases of the virus – 1,761 females and 1,898 males. A total of 3,506 people have recovered. The death toll from COVID-19 is 42.
The public health laboratory has so far conducted 141,529 tests.
To date, 63,728 vaccinations – 26,337 men and 37, 391 women – have been administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
