The new cases, four males and seven females, were identified from among 587 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.ย Meanwhile, eight persons recovered and were discharged from isolation. Since March 2020, there have been 3,719 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1, 804 females and 1,915 males).ย A total of 3,587 persons have recovered, while 44 have died from the virus. The public health laboratory has conducted 145,814 tests, since February 2020. To date, 65,867 people – 27,134 men and 38,733 women – have been vaccinated as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
