(BPI) advises that the Port of Bridgetown as well as the Administrative Building, Cube Blue, will be closed to business tomorrow April 12, due to the impact of ash fall from La Soufriere volcano, St Vincent. During the closure, BPI will be undertaking an industrial cleaning of the buildings, equipment and roadways necessary to return the Port to a safe operating environment. Only authorised, essential personnel will be allowed access to the Port. BPI sincerely apologises for this inconvenience and will issue further updates on the resumption of operations, as conditions permit.
