They were among the 562 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. Four persons also recovered and were discharged. There are now 80 people in isolation. Barbados has recorded 3,753 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,825 females and 1,928 males), since March 2020, and 3,638 persons have recovered. There have been 44 deaths from the viral illness. A total of 147,290 tests have been conducted by the public health laboratory from February, last year. To date, 66,069 vaccinations – 27,239 men and 38,830 women – have been administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
