The new positives, four males and four females, were identified from the 410 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. As a result, the number of people in isolation is 88. Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, there have been 3,773 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (1,837 females and 1,936 males), and 3,656 persons have recovered.ย Forty-four people have died from the virus. The public health laboratory has carried out a total of 148,276 tests. To date, 68,480 vaccinations โ 28,272 men and 40,208 women – have been administered as part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
