Murder accused Jarviston Glenford Thorne has decided to take his case to trial before a jury.

The Jackson Terrace, St Michael residence appeared before Justice Carlisle Greaves today and was arraigned. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of murdering teenager Kadeem Wilfred on December 8, 2015.

Thorne’s matter, which will be prosecuted by Director of Public Prosecutions Donna Badd-Agard Q.C. and Crown Counsel Joyann Catwell, will come up again in the No. 3 Supreme Court on July 12.

The accused is being represented by attorney-at-law Harry Husbands.
