Located in Haggatt Hall St. Michael, the new location will provide local customers high-quality arabica coffee from around the world through Starbucks handcrafted beverages prepared by passionate Starbucks barista partners (employees). Through this opening, CCTL looks forward to celebrating local culture and coffee traditions, and also creating a positive economic impact in communities of Barbados. The new store will employ approximately 15 partners (employees), sourced in partnership with local entities to provide locals with an opportunity to develop a career path. Barbados will become Starbucks tenth market in the Caribbean, where it already delivers innovative and locally relevant retail initiatives to customers in Aruba, Curacao, Bahamas, Cayman, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, and most recently, the Dominican Republic.
