Two new COVID-19 cases, a male and female, were recorded on Monday, June 28, from the 568 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Thirty-three people are in isolation.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, since March 2020, has moved to 4,079 (1,976 females and 2,103 males). Forty-seven people have died from the virus.

There have been 185,046 tests carried out by the public health laboratory since February last year.

As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, first doses have been given to 95,124 people, and 70,215 persons are now fully vaccinated, having received both doses. (BGIS)
