The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory carried out 1,618 tests on Saturday, August 7. There are currently 110 persons in isolation. The number of first doses administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 to date is 100,416. While 79,108 persons (29.2 per cent of the population) have received their second dose and are fully vaccinated. This figure comprises 32,700 males and 46,408 females. Barbados has recorded 4,471 confirmed cases of the viral illness (2,172 females, 2,299 males) since March 2020. There have been 48 deaths.
