The facility conducted 1,595 tests on Thursday, August 12. There are currently 104 persons in isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Barbados has recorded 4,515 cases of the viral illness (2,196 females and 2,319 males), and 48 deaths. The public health laboratory has carried out 236,090 tests. To date, 100,917 first doses have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
