The facility conducted 1,398 tests on Wednesday, August 25. The number of people in isolation is 183. Barbados has recorded 4,741 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,313 females and 2,428 males) since March 2020. The death toll from the virus is 48. To date, the laboratory has carried out 254,009 tests. Public health officials have administered 105,664 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccines under the National Vaccination Programme.
