The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 1,373 tests on Tuesday, September 7. The new cases consist of 70 people who are 18 years old and over, and 17 who are under the age of 18. There are currently 607 persons in isolation. Confirmed cases of the virus recorded, since March 2020, have reached 5,573 (2,759 females and 2,814 males). There have been 51 deaths. The public health laboratory has carried out 276,884 tests, since February last year. The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 117,259 people inoculated with first doses of the vaccines, while 95,816 individuals (35.4 per cent of the population) have received second doses and are, therefore, fully vaccinated.
