There were 2,132 tests conducted on Wednesday, September 15. The new cases comprise 33 females and 38 males. Twenty-one are under the age of 18, while 50 are 18 and older. The number of people in isolation is 828. A 97-year-old woman passed away on Wednesday, after spending four days in isolation. She was unvaccinated. Barbados has recorded 6,248 confirmed cases of the virus (3,119 females and 3,129 males) and 54 related deaths, since March 2020. The public health laboratory has performed 290,232 tests. A total of 123,255 first doses have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19.
