The facility conducted 2,349 tests. The new cases comprise 50 persons under the age of 18, and 250 people who are 18 years and older. There are 803 people in isolation facilities. This figure does not include those persons isolating at home. A 91-year-old woman died as a result of the virus on Tuesday, while at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility. She had comorbidities and was unvaccinated. Since the first case was reported in March 2020, 9,823 cases of the virus (4,782 males and 5,041 females) have been confirmed. There have been 85 deaths. The public health laboratory has, to date, carried out 331,622 tests. Under the National Vaccination Programme, 139,644 persons have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 108,963 people (40.2 per cent of the total population or 47.7 per cent of the eligible population), have received their second dose and are therefore fully vaccinated.
