The facility conducted 2,724 tests. The new positives comprise 72 persons who are under the age of 18, and 250 who are 18 years and older. There are 576 people in isolation facilities, and 2,756 in home isolation. One woman, aged 32, died at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility. She was unvaccinated. To date, there have been 109 deaths. Confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded, since March last year, stand at 12,427 (5,993 males and 6,434 females). The public health laboratory has carried out 352,994 tests since February 2020. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 144,074 (63.1 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 115,187 (42.5 per cent of the total population or 50.4 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
