The facility conducted 1,913 tests. The new positives comprise 52 persons who are under the age of 18, and 151 who are 18 years and older. There are 595 people in isolation facilities, and 3,269 in home isolation. Confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded, since March last year, stand at 13,171 (6,339 males and 6,832 females). To date, 119 lives have been lost to the virus. The public health laboratory has carried out 359,493 tests since February 2020. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 145,339 (63.6 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 117,020 (43.2 per cent of the total population or 51.2 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
