There were 2,101 tests conducted on that day. Of the positive cases, 68 persons were under the age of 18, and the other 246 were 18 years and older. There were 807 persons in isolation facilities, and 5,087 in home isolation. As at October 29, there were 152 deaths attributed to the viral illness. The number of persons who have received at least one dose of the vaccine under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 stands at 148,469 (65 per cent of the eligible population). A total of 125,663 persons (46.4 per cent of the total population or 55 per cent of the eligible population) have received their second doses and are fully vaccinated. The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older. Since the start of the pandemic, the public health laboratory has conducted 387,102 tests, and recorded a total of 17,465 confirmed cases (8,447 males and 9,018 females) of COVID-19.
