The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 1,910 tests. The new positives comprise 66 persons who are under the age of 18, and 234 who are 18 years and older. There are 937 people in isolation facilities, and 6,522 in home isolation. There were two deaths recorded on Wednesday- two Barbadian males, ages 84 and 80 years old, who died at the Blackman and Gollop and the Harrison’s Point Isolation facility, respectively. They were both unvaccinated. Confirmed deaths as at November 10, stand at 189. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 151,082 (66.2 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who have received their second doses and are fully vaccinated is 131,187 (48.4 per cent of the total population or 57.4 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the public health laboratory has carried out 409,127 tests and recorded 21,311 cases (10,268 males and 11,043 females) of COVID-19.
