The positive cases comprised 18 persons under the age of 18, and 55 who were 18 years and older. The number of people in isolation facilities was 47, while 864 were in home isolation. No deaths were reported as of March 19. Total deaths from the viral illness remain at 327. The public health laboratory has carried out 603,110 tests since February 2020, and recorded 57,733 COVID-19 cases (26,767 males and 30,966 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,790 (70.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of persons who are fully vaccinated is 150,665 (55.6 per cent of the total population or 66.0 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
